What does a session with you feel like?
Sessions are relaxed and easygoing. I'll guide you throughout when needed, but there's no pressure for everyone to pose perfectly and stand still. Especially with kids, I've found the best photos usually happen once everyone settles in, plays a little, and stops thinking too much about the camera.
Where do sessions usually take place?
For couples or lifestyle sessions, people usually choose either an outdoor location or their own home or backyard, where everyone feels comfortable. I'm always happy to help choose a spot based on the kind of atmosphere you're drawn to and what feels most natural for your family. If I'm shooting your birth, I will come to wherever you are birthing (hospital, birth center, home, etc.)
How do you guide us during the session?
I keep direction very gentle and natural. Instead of stiff posing, I'll usually guide you through small movements and interactions so the session feels comfortable and the photos still feel like you.
Do you do weddings?
Weddings are not my focus right now, but I can make exceptions, depending on the circumstances. If you're looking for wedding photography, fill out the contact form and we'll discuss it!
I will, however, accept courthouse weddings, local elopements, and bridal portraits!
How do I book a session with you?

I'll get back to you with availability, pricing, and the next steps from there.
How many photos do I get from my session?
I do not set a maximum number of photos you will receive. However many good shots I get in the time we're together is how many you will receive!
Do you offer a military or first responder discount?
Yes, I am happy to offer a military/first responder discount! Mention your position in the contact form and I will include the discount in the estimate I send you!
Will you help me decide what to wear?
I would love to help you pick out outfits! A few weeks before your booked session, I will also send you a What to Wear document that will help guide you when choosing outfits for you and your family.
